Colemans Field Report

I manage to steal away to pay this place a visit because I was very impressed with the quality of ammo cans I recieved. Whenever I set out on a trip to places I dont know I make it a habbit to leave early in the morning because my Moma always told me: DONT YOU EVER LET THE SETTING SUN CATCH YOU IN A PLACE YOU DONT KNOW UNLESS YOU'RE PLANNING TO STAY THE NIGHT. I still live by these words...... Any how I get up there and instantly I start to feel uneasy because I am in a DEEP part of PA and my cell signal gets spotty and then goes DEAD .....which means I would have to get out my car to make a call BIG NO NO for me. After getting directions again ....I soon trek into farm land and roads that get real narrow and the offshoots become gravel or dirt The road to this place was tiny(missed it twice) and the facilty sets waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back from the gravel road ( I had a strong urge to just leavecause I wanst sure I was at the right place, but I manage to suck it up) Im glad I did cause when I got into the main hall it was soooooooooooooooooooo worth it. That place is MASSIVE I mean MASSSIVE the staff are straight forward but they leave you to find whatever you are looking for. There a tons are nick nacks all around that you just have to see as I did (discreetly) manage to do. The sad part is they just raised the price on there ammo cans to what everybody else is so it really dose not justify another run out there but for anybody interested I must say it is certainley worth a DAY TRIP out there because you will find some great stuff at great prices.(NATO fuel cans with spouts etc...) Just Dont let Sunset catch you over there........I would hate to see how the treat "unwelcomes" after night fall:bear_w00t: |

Re: Colemans Field Report
Garmin got me there. Even with the modern advantage and a map I still questioned where is it we are going? Did you have to go up and around the side of the mountain as you left Harrisburg and the river? That was quite a treat, as much as I wanted to look off into the distance, I didn't dare because of the width of the road and the depth of the valley! Pretty neat place though. Acres and acres of "stuff"! Anyone want to buy a bridge? No joke, they have them!
"I would hate to see how the treat "unwelcomes" after night fall" Guess you did not see the one "lady" that works in the office! http://www.colemans.com/index.php Ouch, they did raise the price of the ammo cans. Must be because the price of fuel and transportation, not! |

I noticed that one of the photos showed body bags for $29.95.
That is a GREAT deal!:cooler: If you buy in bulk I bet it gets even better! |
